University of Texas at Arlington
Cooper St. Bridge Renovation

Located at the heart of The University of Texas at Arlington’s campus, and a major artery to the surrounding city of Arlington, the Cooper Street Bridges were outdated, rusting, and lacking overall visual interest. BRW, in partnership with SpawGlass, brought the two pedestrian bridges back to life with custom perforated panels depicting a stampede of Mavericks, a new and modern lighting package, clean finishes, and proud UTA logos welcoming passersby to campus. Now, as students, staff, and city residents drive down Cooper Street, they will know they are in the heart of a thriving campus and community.
