Designed as a flexible and immersive performance space, the Merrill Ellis Intermedia Theater (MEIT) supports experimental music, intermedia, and performance art. As the premier venue for the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI), MEIT fosters innovation at the intersection of technology and artistic expression.

This black-box theater offers a dynamic environment for creators, integrating advanced audiovisual systems, adaptable lighting, and flexible seating for up to 100 guests. The space is designed to accommodate a wide range of performances, from multimedia installations to live experimental productions. With its adaptable layout and cutting-edge capabilities, MEIT serves as a hub for artistic exploration and boundary-pushing performances.
