Lakewood Village Town Hall

As Lakewood Village anticipates significant growth, the town’s leadership recognized that the existing Town Hall, built in 1998, is no longer equipped to serve the needs of the community. In response, BRW partnered with the town to develop a forward-thinking plan that not only addresses the functional requirements of a growing administrative hub but also reflects the town’s distinctive identity and aspirations.

Through a series of collaborative planning sessions and visits to similar facilities, BRW worked closely with town staff to understand Lakewood Village’s essence. The town’s identity—a blend of tradition and community—shaped the approach to this project. The new Town Hall is envisioned as more than a building; it’s a welcoming gateway that represents the town’s evolving presence. Multiple design options were considered, focusing on long-term functionality and creating a structure that is both practical and architecturally distinct. This study will guide the town through the decision-making process, ensuring that every step is aligned with a vision for a Town Hall that not only serves its essential functions but also becomes a lasting symbol of Lakewood Village’s growth.
