Dallas Fire Station No. 19
Following a devastating storm, the original structure was compromised, necessitating a swift tear-down and rebuild to serve the community. Within the site’s triangular footprint, Dallas Fire Station No. 19 features semi-private sleeping quarters, fitness facilities, a kitchen, dining area, and dayroom.
The masonry details, including the emblematic “XIX,” complement its surrounding old East Dallas context. A masonry wall provides security along the urban perimeter and houses the 50-year-old heritage trees preserved throughout the construction process.
